Next up for the weekend was a finish. Yup, a finish. It is one of the patterns from Little House Needleworks Dear Diary series. I left off the name and year and added some seagulls and another cloud. I am planning on this being a Christmas gift for one of my brothers.
I've also made lots of progress on my other projects in the past week or so since I updated my wips.
"Coming to America" by Little House Needleworks. This will be the largest piece I have ever done on linen. I find that I am a little slower at stitching on linen but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. With time I hope I can gain a little speed. If not? That's okay.
I've been working on this one on Monday and Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday and Thursday evenings I have been working on another Little House pattern, "The Traveling Stitcher". This time the linen is 32ct.
Gee, do you think I like the patterns of Little House Needleworks? :)

It is so pretty!!! I love your cat!! I have two indoor cats that have a garden window that they lay in to watch the birds. I know what sound you are talking about!!
I too hate the snow late in the season. I have that same urge as you to work in the flower beds.

Love all your LHN projects! I can't believe the change in weather in one week for you all. It's getting warm here too. Lots of sun this weekend and highs in the upper 70's to low 80's all this week. Hope you get to enjoy more time on the deck in the warm sunshine this week. Happy Spring!
A great finish and very pretty WIPS. No warmth here in Idaho Falls yet but I have hope. My DH and I were already thinking about when to start some seeds indoors. We can't plant anything outside here until mid-may.

Lovely finish and nice progress on all WIPs. I love your little surprise in the garden... on the north we are going into ice age, no signs of global warming at all. Forget any signs of spring either. This morning is 35 below zero..

EvalinaMaria and I are in the same boat - northern winters. We had a thaw and a record rainfall - 1.5 inches in 24 hours and now it's back to snow. I'll have to enjoy spring through your blog!
