It's about time

I post an update of stitching and stuff isn't it? My last update was, what, two weeks ago?
They last two weeks started with another snowstorm. Then Rory and I attended three dog shows. (a second place and two fourth places) We had a house full of people and dog company for a day. I had a pretty lousy week of migraines (two of them!) which equals four lost days. (Gosh I hate those things. ) Along with all that I mailed out my two exchanges and made some nice progress on another wip, Simply Live. I am also stitching on two more exchanges and a gift. No photos of those yet. So without further ado here are some photos of our busy two weeks.

Rory and company playing chase in the snow.

Rory and his "cousin" wrestling on the deck.

Digging for snowballs

My Stitch Red for your Heart HOE exchange. This is what I made and sent to Sheril. This was my very first pin keep. It isn't perfect but the fob I made came out good.

This is what I stitched for my partner, Brenda, in the Lizzie Kate Exchange blog round three.

My progress on Live Simply. Aren't these colors gorgeous?

So that about sums up my last two weeks. I hope the next two are a little more restful. No dog shows until at least the end of March.

Don't forget to sign up for Rory's First Birthday giveaway. Go to the previous posting to leave your comment to enter. All the wonderful comments that have been left so far have moved me so. Stitching people and bloggers are such warm and loving people. You all are fabulous. Oh, and Rory just loves all Birthday hugs. I am also finding your ONS favorites interesting. There are a couple I haven't heard of. It is fun looking through all of the new websites. Thank you all.

Until next time............
Love and stitches

Rory and his friends are too cute. Love the snow pics!

Great stitching! Your exchange pieces are great. I need to do that "It's expensive to be me" for my daughter, who constantly needs reminding that she's not a trust fund baby. LOL Not sure if she'd appreciate it! ;) Your Simply Live looks GREAT!

Love your progress on Simply Live Kathy! I stitched this a year or so ago and it was a really fun stitch!

Your exchanges look great, I particularly like the heart fob you stitched, the red thread is really pretty :)

Sending birthday wishes to Rory, he's such a handsome fella :)

The rest of your stitching looks great. I love the Lizzie Kate one too.

What fun the dogses are having! :D

Also, your stitching is quite beautiful, and if there's a fault to your pynkeepe I don't see it! I'm currently making my first one right now myself...for an exchange, too! I hope it comes out as nicely as yours did. Live simply is also coming along so nicely. :D

Your first pinkeep finish looks great! I haven't tried that shape and it can't be easy! Love the dogs and snow. I think you are getting just a bit more right now! Well maybe you are too close to the ocean and getting more rain. Live Simply looks very pretty so far.

Great finishes - I think I recognised the scissor fob design ;o) - would you mind if I posted your picture on my blog? And if you let me have your addy, I'll send a little prize your way...

Commiserations for the migraines, BTW, I get them too, it's not one of my favourite experiences!

Lovely pics of Rory in the snow. Your pinkeep is gorgeous - looks finished perfectly to me! Hugs about the migraines - I suffered with them from the age of about fourteen to nineteen. Touch wood they don't seem to happen to me any longer.

Goodness Kathy, is it my imagination or has Rory grown since I last looked? My dogs also get totally silly in the snow. Nice stitching. I am just starting to get going on my old projects again but it feels good.
